Notarised passport translation in Nizhny Novgorod

When you need a notary
For the MVD, the civil registry office and a bank you need a notarised translation. For an employer the agency stamp is often enough.
Certification with the agency stamp is free, notarisation is 1200 ₽ per document.

Questions
Do you need the original passport?
A photo is enough for the translation. The notary will need the original if the translation is bound to a notarised copy of the passport, which is not required everywhere.
The passport is in two languages, say Uzbek and English. How much does it cost?
900 ₽ for a translation from two languages. We translate from both, because the inspector compares the entries.
How long is the translation valid?
Until new stamps appear in the passport. After an extension or a new visa, the translation is redone.
